Dominion's data-center contracts grew from 16.5 GW in July 2023 to 53.8 GW in July 2026. The steepest stretch was July to December 2024, when the total rose 18.8 GW and 18.6 GW of that was engineering letters, the earliest of the three authorization stages and the furthest from a meter. This is contracted pipeline capacity, a different quantity from the large-load request queue, and neither is energized load.
