Grid batteries versus enrolled demand on SCE's 2025 evening peak

On SCE's 4-to-9 PM peak in 2025, CAISO's roughly 15 GW grid-battery fleet put a median 5.4 GW onto the ramp, while the home batteries enrolled in a grid program delivered about 7 MW, SCE's demand-response portfolio delivered about 530 MW of 680 MW enrolled, and the 1.6 million households in the mass behavioral program were not called.
